Ulnar Neuropathy by a Ganglion Cyst at the Elbow
Abstract
I report a case of a ganglion cyst compressing ulnar nerve at the elbow. A 46-year old patient has a complaint of paresthesia on ulnar side of his right hand and 5th finger. Electrodiagnostic test revealed ulnar neuropathy with axonal involvement at the elbow. After complete resection of the ganglion cyst communicated with olecranon bursae, the patient’s neurologic symptoms improved.
