Mononeuropathy Multiplex in Type II Neurofibromatosis
Abstract
Mononeuropathy multiplex is known to be a rare disease in the type II neurofibromatosis. We experienced a patient who showed unilateral upper extremity muscle weakness and progression of bilateral involvement. Skin biopsy, electrodiagnostic and brain imaging studies showed multiple involvement of neural tissues, so we diagnosed him as a neurofibromatosis type II complicated by mononeuropathy multiplex.
