Gunshot Injury to the Fifth Cervical Root . A case report .
Abstract
Gunshot injury is rare in Korea. A 18-year-old man had bullet injury with the entry at the right anterior neck. The bullet embedded into the left side area of the fifth cervical vertebra. The patient presented atrophy of the left rhomboid and the infraspinatus muscles. Electrophysiologic study revealed the lesion at the left C5 root level of brachial plexus. We report a case of C5 radiculopathy from gunshot injury.
