Abstract |
Colchicine is widely used in gout patients and its complications include neuropathy and myopathy. These complications are more prevalent to patients with kidney failure who have increased serum concentration of the drug. Domestically, there has not been a report of peripheral neuropathy caused by colchicine with exception of patients with renal failure. The authors describe a case of colchicine induced neuropathy with myotonia who had not a renal failure. His myotonia was disappeared with the discontinuation of colchicine. |
